David, the thrice-anointed of the Lord; David, the giant-killer; David, king of Israel, “waxed faint” in the midst of a battle! A very strange scripture that is, about David the warrior … faint in battle…!
For about 135 years, Judah had been virtually in ruins spiritually and politically, as amplified in the persisting broken walls and burnt-out gates that were the physical and visible indications of those lamentable transcendental conditions (Lamentations 1:1). Nearly the whole population had been forced into exile as part of divine judgment following the nation’s repeated and recalcitrant backslidings. It was a regrettable eclipse upon a proud civilization.
Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
Revelation 2:20
All food does not serve a nutritional purpose, even though it might have nutritional value. Everything we eat or drink is not because we were hungry or thirsty. Sometimes it is merely for the fun of the food, or because it is part of a social event, or because there are medicinal properties we wish to derive from the food, or because the eating is part of a religious ritual. The spirit realm is one of frequent meals and communions, and that realm recognizes and distinguishes meals and meal types.

Dreams, by virtue of their timing, can be very significant. When there is a coincidence of thought and dream, it could be no ordinary dream after all.
