RESPONSES …
Dear Preacher,
This brings a critical balance to the very crucial topic of marriage, divorce, and remarriage. It fills a gaping void in church doctrines on the subject. Ignorance and inadequacy of church doctrines have caused men and women, as well as the Church, to pay a huge price. Some of the casualties over the years could have been avoided. This is one book that I wish I could personally put on the shelf of every church, in the hands of every pastor and marriage counsellor, on the curriculum of every Bible school, in every home, and in the hands of every intending couple. It is bold and audacious, daring to enter some hitherto uncharted territories to give uncommon illuminations. I salute the Author’s courage. It would, doubtless, be contended by the traditional and religious dogmatic camp, but be gladly embraced by every honest and humble seeker of truth in this sparsely navigated terrain where there isn’t much doctrine to give light to the Church. It would certainly SET CAPTIVES FREE. I am glad and privileged to have been impacted/illuminated by this uncommon work. Thank you, dear Preacher.
Pastor O.I.
I have absolutely no words with which to truly describe just how liberating, enlightening, and empowering your elucidation of this most misunderstood and misrepresented subject has been, my dear brother and man of God. Thank you, and God richly bless you with more wisdom and insights for the Universal Body of Christ. Amen. Regards.

The Preacher is God’s gift to His Church. His ability to address and unbundle troubling issues arising from long-standing abuse of God’s truth by ignorant and prideful men is amazing. Thank you, Sir, for giving yourself this arduous task and bringing relief and freedom to those who have been confused, troubled, and shackled by ‘the traditions of the elders.’
Pst O. A
I am blessed to have known you in my lifetime. Your teachings are indeed eye openers.
Chinaka
I salute your in-depth wisdom and the revelation grace upon you. This message is deep. Thank you for making yourself available for God to use you in our days.
Blossom
Thank you so much sir, for this insight. God bless you for sharing this truth and shattering the terrible fear and ignorance that has held me bound for years.
Sis B
I really will be quite circumspect in assuming “God has not joined together.” God is His own interpreter, as the hymn says.
Kingsley
The lights are coming on.
Victoria
I can’t stop to marvel at the pen of The Preacher as God continues to enlighten our theology through this series. May the Lord continue to grant The Preacher more insight into His Word. More grace, sir.
Pst C. D
These are compelling thoughts.
Joe
When The Preacher teaches (does he really preach? What’s the difference, anyway?) … as I was saying, when The Preacher is teaching, you better find yourself there and pay attention. God uses him to unveil truths that bring us freedom from the chains of ignorance, misunderstanding, and lack of Heaven’s perspectives – the very chains that make many unfruitful in spite of their unending strenuous efforts in ministry. God help us.
Pst. O.O.A.
This message has answered the questions in my heart. Very liberating. I must say, I am grateful for this insightful teaching. God bless you.

So sad that many people have been subjected to a life of misery, and others have lost their lives, because of a lack of knowledge. A balanced understanding of the scriptures and the teaching thereof will heal many and make for a more fruitful church and society. Thank you, dear Preacher, for being a channel of light.
Pst. C.
This is really deep. Thank you, dear Preacher, but I need a balance to this. Are there cases where what God joined together can get under attack from the enemy? And should we conclude that any good thing that has a challenge in some sense was not joined by God? Secondly, are there abusive situations that are lessons to the recipient, requiring patience for a breakthrough to take place, rather than breaking up?
Chioma
Many thanks. These teachings are very insightful. Paul had the Spirit of GOD, so he was speaking by the Spirit.
Helen
This is inspired writing. God bless you.
Kelechi
Awesome. I am getting more curious about this story. I shall see how it ends. This could only have been wisdom as revealed by God. May the Oil of your pen never dry.
Emma
Thanks for this article, dear Preacher. Truly, you have highlighted many facts. Keep up the good work.
Pst. Y
Bitter truth that will release sweet freedom to weary souls in the valley of marriage buhaha. Thanks, dear Preacher, for the bold step to release this ancient truth in new wineskin. More blessings.
Pst. Michael
Wooow… What a teaching! How I wish there is provision for me to give this post a thousand likes … The provisions for divorce and remarriage are explicitly explored. However, I love this: “Otherwise, if the family separates, the children might never come to know the Lord; whereas a united family may, in God’s plan, result in the children’s salvation.” The above quote happens to be one of the reasons why our mothers in Africa decided to stay put in their marriages, even abusive marriages, because of the future of their children. While not supporting abuse, any successful marriage must have its foundation built on God and His character, the most striking being that of SACRIFICE. Let’s all learn to make sacrifices to keep our marriages. Thanks for this teaching. More Grace for Kingdom impact.
Rita
God bless you for speaking the truth. What a great eye-opener! This is a good balance. Good understanding is very important when studying the scriptures. The picture is getting clear. You are a super blessing. I am super blessed and enlightened, and can’t wait to read the next parts. Sometimes, things are deeper than we can see. This is a complete eye-opener. God bless you for being there for us. One needs an open mind to understand and serve God well. May God continue to increase you on every side, and also help my limitations and grant me more insights. Thanks for igniting the fire for more knowledge in me. Sometimes, things are deeper than we see. I am blessed.
Bishop R.
Deep truth, wide understanding. Tasty and challenging. God bless you for your labour of love for the Body of Christ. May grace abound for balanced applications of truth in love.
Franklin
Contextual misconceptions leading to doctrinal errors abound in the Body of CHRIST. FATHER, please open our eyes of understanding and enrich us with your wisdom. Help us to patiently wait on the Spirit of Truth to teach us. GOD bless the Preacher Ministry.
Mr K.K
I am greatly impressed, encouraged and have benefited from the exposition presented in this discussion. May God greatly reward you.
I.E.O. (Rtd. Ven)
Making a general rule out of specific cases, like you said, has always been and is still the confusion in the Body of Christ, especially among Pentecostals, because a good number of us have refused to train properly in the Kingdom work. May God infuse in our hearts the desire to study and know the truth in God’s word. Blessings, dear Preacher.

This will definitely bring liberation to many souls caught in the web of misrepresentation of biblical truths! This is becoming more intriguing. I can’t wait to imbibe all the deep insights.
Obi
This is great. I must commend your insight on this thought-provoking issue. Could you also comment on the statement of Jesus: “What God has joined together let no man separate”? I would also love to hear your comment on Malachi’s statement in chapter 2:16: “I hate divorce, says the LORD”. Furthermore, I’m often confused why Jesus used “fornication” and not “adultery.” I’m also concerned that no English version (to the best of my knowledge) translated Jesus’ word in the Matthew passage as adultery. In addition, I would also love to have you comment on why Mark, Luke and the entire New Testament are silent on the concessions granted by Jesus to divorce on grounds of marital unfaithfulness as we have it in Matthew. Thank you.
Sunday
One thing I find particularly instructive as we journey with The Preacher is this: Whenever there seems to be a contradiction in Scriptures, consider it a privilege to dig deeper, to rightly divide the Word. Were believers to adopt this mindset, most doctrinal disagreements in the Body of Christ would not arise. The Preacher has a way of making us unassuming students of the Bible, going back for clarity to the many Scriptures we thought we understood. I pray that grace shall continue to abound to you, Amen.
Clifford
Beautiful insights on this story … didn’t see the woman from these perspectives before. Can’t wait to see the full picture. Thank you, Preacher.
Pst. S. B.
The explanation is Bible-centred and the interpretation is Holy Spirit-inspired. Thank you for yielding to God to bring this very timely lesson to the front burner again. This is thoroughly a good read. God bless you
Dr Ade
So much depth into a hitherto simple encounter of JESUS and the Samaritan woman. Thank you for all the dimensions of insight. So eager for the unravelling as we are taken deeper into its depth. So thirsty for more …. Wow! I am still pondering and trying to assimilate the deep and profound insights of this teaching. Probably, I’ll do a second reading. Thank you so much for unravelling this mystery. So much enlightenment. GOD bless you.
Mary
I had never bothered myself with this marital mystery of the Samaritan woman, other than dwell, over the years, on her having 5 husbands. Now, my eyes are open to deeper dimensions of that episode, with a whetted curiosity. God bless the Preacher
Elliot
A wonderful exposition.
Vic
This piece leaves me salivating, knowing that Jesus never makes a mistake. Well done, Preacher. More grace for more insight
Bishop Godfrey
This is a deep revelation on the problematic theology of marriage in our relativistic world. The spirit of the word Jesus gives always appears contradictory to the letters of the Pharisaic theologians. Marriage is for ‘men’ and not ‘men’ for marriage. Jesus’ ultimate goal is to save life, even in His theology of marriage, not to destroy lives. Thank you, sir, for this dimension of the Truth.
Sebastian
This is an awesome write-up, very inspiring and uplifting. Thank you.
Dr Richard
Each time I read from The Preacher’s teachings, I feel like I am learning from the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Sir, for receiving deep things and sharing deep revelations of the sacred Word of God.
Obby
You are truly a bundle of blessings to humanity. Thanks greatly for the impact Sir. Thank God for your boldness to pen these and His wisdom to accomplish the same. Shalom.
AB
In the 21st century, the discussion on Christian divorce and re-marriage has not been brought to the fore in this part of the world or, at best, it’s just discussed on the surface. Thanks for your insight and boldness to share. It’s appreciated.
Pst. Ken
Tough subject indeed.
Sarah, Uganda
I enjoyed reading to the very end. It’s very enlightening and well-researched writing. God bless you.
Rev. S
Thank God for getting me back on course with this message. I was beginning to drift in some areas. Thank you for being obedient to God. God bless you immensely and bless what you do for God.
Pst. P.
Your message on wounded hands has blessed my soul. Listening to this message this morning, I am healed and blessed. May the Lord reward you and uphold you in Jesus name amen.
Mrs Y.K.
Thanks a lot for the messages. It appears the Lord asked you to send the messages to help heal my wounds. The messages on Christian Divorce and Re- Marriage and “The Wounded Hand” were timely messages for my heart. My first daughter got married in my church but they brought her back to my home, that she has not given birth. She was forced out of the marriage even when she was determined to stay, despite the bad treatments. The matter has kept my daughter and the entire family traumatised. Each time I remember that “God hates divorce,” we didn’t know what to do. God bless you, sir
Mrs M.K.
Many people have already divorced their spouses in their hearts, but pretend to be in marriages. There are unworkable marriages where divorce has taken place emotionally for years, and not in physical terms. Only the spouses involved understand that they are divorced psychologically, but they are ashamed to whistle out.
Nelly
Wooow! Thank You Jesus! This is thought-provoking? In all, I am thrilled that “…mercy, not judgment, is the fulfilment of the law.” May God’s Mercy see us through, in Jesus name
Apostle R. O.
This is packed with deep insights. The truths revealed will liberate many who have been labouring under the burden of public opinions. These lines ring loud and clear: “guilt does not demand condemnation, and being right does not always bring light!”
Jerry
Many thanks for this invaluable gift to the global Christian family. Thank you for this education on the grace of God for marriages. May we have the wisdom of God in applying it
J.
Thank you so much, dear Preacher. These writings have been a blessing indeed. I am eagerly looking forward to the e-book version. God bless you
S.T.B
I have never seen those scriptures from this perspective. Thank you for sharing and educating me better.
C.M.
I’m immensely blessed. May the Lord have mercy on us.
Ishmael
Many thanks for this great insight.
Dr Deborah
This reminds me of an experience I had with a prostitute outside a whorehouse, on my way to school. I had a prompting to preach to her, but I was wary of doing that, considering that that might send a wrong impression about me to anyone who saw me in a discussion with a prostitute in front of a whorehouse, especially, someone who had known me as a born again. After so much hesitation, I yielded and walked up to her, preached the gospel of salvation to her and led her to Christ. Very much to my surprise, another prostitute who had been close to us said to me that she thought I had been bargaining price with her friend, only to realize that I had been preaching to her, and asked that I should preach to her also. I did and also led her to Christ. The lesson from your post is that we should not be quick to judge or condemn. And also, that we should not be wary of doing what pleases God because it might not be in good taste to men.
Sylvanus
All who read this must have faith. There are greater forces at work than you can imagine. It will get better, and each of your situations will improve, whether it is what you intended to happen or not. I have my ex back this week, and we are happy together.
Tracie
Awesome writing indeed. I have been enlightened. God bless you Sir. More grace in Jesus name, Amen.
Mfon
Getting more enlightened. Contextual misconceptions leading to doctrinal errors abound in the Body of Christ. Father, please, open our eyes of understanding and enrich us with your wisdom. Help us to patiently wait on the Spirit of Truth to teach us aright in JESUS mighty name. Amen. GOD bless The Preacher.
